PCM Sage YouTube Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026. This policy explains how Pearl City Media, LLC handles Google account and YouTube data when an authorized user connects PCM Sage YouTube. It supplements our general website privacy policy. The app uses YouTube API Services. Google’s own handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

What we access

After you grant permission, we receive an OAuth authorization token and information needed to identify the selected Google or YouTube Brand Account and channel. Depending on the work you authorize, we may access the channel ID and name, video and livestream metadata, scheduled and live broadcast details, and video caption data. The YouTube permissions presented by Google are broad: they can permit viewing and managing YouTube account content. We use them for channel verification and the specific publishing, livestream, caption, and related channel-management work authorized by the account owner.

In a separate Google Analytics administration flow using the same OAuth client, an account owner may authorize access to Analytics account or property details and user-access settings. We use that access only for the Analytics review or user-access change that the owner requests. We do not ask for or store your Google password.

How we use and share information

We use this information to connect the right account, carry out and verify requested channel or Analytics actions, troubleshoot failures, maintain an audit trail, and protect the service. Only Pearl City Media personnel and agents approved to work on the relevant account may use authorized data. We send data to Google through its APIs when carrying out the requested action. The channel owner and its authorized staff may see the related work and results. Our infrastructure and hosting providers process data only to operate and secure the service. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or give it to unrelated parties for their own purposes. We may disclose information when legally required.

Storage, security, and retention

We keep the OAuth refresh token in our access-controlled secret store. Authorized channel identifiers and operational records may be held in our service databases and logs; access tokens are short-lived and are used to call Google APIs. We use encrypted connections and access controls. We retain authorized data only while needed for the requested work, security, or legally required records. We do not keep copies of YouTube video or audio content through this connection. If data is no longer needed or authorization ends, we remove the token and associated authorized YouTube API data as described below. Public content already published on YouTube remains under the channel owner’s control and is deleted through YouTube itself.

Your control and deletion

You can withdraw authorization by emailing [email protected] with the channel or Google account to disconnect, or by removing PCM Sage YouTube in your Google security settings. For a request made to us, we revoke the app’s token and delete authorized YouTube API data held under that grant as soon as possible, within seven calendar days. If you revoke access through Google, we remove the associated data as soon as we detect the revocation and within 30 calendar days. You may also request a copy or correction of information we hold about your account. We may retain records that law requires or records that no longer contain authorized Google API data.

Website information and changes

The public pages on pearlcitymedia.com may use normal website cookies and server logs as described in our general website privacy policy. PCM Sage YouTube does not place advertising cookies through the Google authorization flow. We will update this page if our data practices change and will seek renewed consent if a new use of YouTube API data is outside the scope you accepted.
