Pearl City Media Social Data Deletion Policy

Pearl City Media, LLC respects your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data from our Pearl City Media Social management platform.

What Data We Store

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account to Pearl City Media Social, we may store:

  • Your Facebook/Instagram user ID and profile information
  • Access tokens to post on your behalf (encrypted)
  • Content you create or schedule through our platform
  • Analytics and engagement data from your connected accounts
  • Comments and messages you manage through our platform

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Remove the App from Facebook

Removing our app from your Facebook settings will revoke our access to your data. Follow these steps:

1 Log in to your Facebook account

2 Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings

3 Click on Apps and Websites in the left sidebar (under “Your activity and permissions”)

4 Find “Pearl City Media Social” in your list of active apps

5 Click on the app, then click “Remove”

6 In the confirmation dialog, check the box for “Delete all posts, photos, and videos on Facebook that Pearl City Media Social may have published on your behalf”

7 Click “Remove” to confirm

Note: After removing the app from Facebook, please also contact us at [email protected] to request complete deletion of any data stored on our servers.

Option 2: Contact Us Directly

You can request data deletion by contacting us directly:

Subject Line: Data Deletion Request – [Your Name]

Include in your request:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your account
  • The Facebook Page(s) or Instagram account(s) you connected
  • Confirmation that you want all your data deleted

Option 3: Delete Your Account in Our Platform

If you have access to your Pearl City Media Social account:

  1. Log in to social.pearlcitymedia.com/mixpost
  2. Navigate to your account settings
  3. Select “Delete Account” or “Remove Social Account”
  4. Confirm the deletion

What Happens After Deletion

Upon receiving your deletion request:

  • We will verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletions
  • Your data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days
  • You will receive confirmation once the deletion is complete
  • Some data may be retained if required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes)

Data We Cannot Delete

Please note that we cannot delete:

  • Content that has already been published to Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms (you must delete this directly on those platforms)
  • Data held by Facebook, Instagram, or other third-party platforms (contact them directly)
  • Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be linked to you
  • Records we are legally required to retain
